I was appointed as a Trustee in 2022. My own research concerns the air-sea exchange of chemically reactive trace gases and I have enjoyed working with and being informed by PML scientists on solving research problems in this area over many years. I currently sit on the Scientific Steering Committee of the WMO/UNEP Stratospheric Ozone Assessment panel and on the Scientific Advisory Boards of the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Mainz and the NSF Center for Aerosol Impacts on Chemistry of the Environment (CAICE), and am a chair or member of various research panels and committees relating to Earth and environmental science.
