How PML is operating during the covid-19 pandemic

Following the announcement on 5 January 2021 by the Prime Minister of a national lockdown, PML has reviewed its operations. Our building remains open and our ship operational locally to ensure that important experimental and laboratory-based research is able to be undertaken, and that we continue to deliver on research projects for our customers, whilst taking all necessary steps to remain covid secure.

In accordance with government requirements the majority of our staff are working from home, remain contactable via email, video-conference channels and phone, and are continuing to deliver against their research projects too. Queries on specific research projects should be sent to the relevant Principal Investigator.

Building Access & Covid Security

We operate an access request system for staff and external contractors.

If you are a contractor and wish to access our premises, please contact the Director of Operations for prior authorisation, and our covid security requirements.

Unfortunately, for the duration of the current lockdown we will not be permitting any new visiting researchers to our site.
