Ocean Acidification and Climate-Ocean Impacts (June 4, 2020 18:30-19:30 CET) is moderated by  Dr. Helen Findlay, Plymouth Marine Laboratory, and Global Ocean Acidification Observing Network, Executive Council, & Dr. Lisa Suatoni, National Resources Defense Council, USA.

Hosted by the World Economic Forum and Friends of Ocean Action, the Dialogues will foster inclusive, constructive and practical exchanges to maintain momentum on the ocean action agenda.

Ocean acidification and other climate-related ocean stressors have widespread impacts on marine ecosystems which impact human wellbeing. The “Deep- Dive” program will occur immediately after the Data and Science Dialogue on June 4 and will explore innovative and inclusive actions that are helping local communities, industry partners and governments find solutions—including policy actions—for addressing and adapting to impacts of ocean acidification.

The Virtual Ocean Dialogues are designed to maintain momentum in the face of COVID-19 and will connect communities across the world that are seeking solutions and taking bold action for a healthy, resilient, thriving ocean, bringing about much needed opportunities for positive change.
