Workshop - Towards a UK marine data assimilation strategy

The purpose of the The National Partnership for Ocean Prediction (NPOP) Marine Data Assimilation group is to bring together scientists with an interest in data assimilation to identify areas where joint work is possible to develop a long term marine data assimilation strategy for the UK.

The objectives of this workshop are:

1) to share current research in marine data assimilation and assimilation methods in UK centres;
2) to strengthen collaborations;
3) to gather ideas for a UK strategy in marine data assimilation.

This one day workshop starts at 9.00am (registration) and ends at 4:30pm.
