We are fortunate to have the facilities to host a number of events, from small project meetings to large-scale workshops and conferences within our own Lecture Theatre. Currently, we are running fewer events than normal due to covid-19 but we plan to bring our marine science seminars, training courses and other events online in 2021.

The ‘Measure! Monitor! Manage! Innovative approaches to evidence-based plastic pollution prevention’ event will focus on the latest innovative approaches to manage marine plastic pollution and deep dive into tracking plastic pollution in cities and oceans, with real-world applications, live demonstrations and a round table session. The session will be led by experts, scientists and urban practitioners in plastic waste measuring, monitoring and management.
