Dr Frances Hopkins

Dr Hopkins talk will be entitled: "The smell of the sea, plankton, and climate change" and will describe to the public the role of the sea and how it affects the Earth's climate regulation.

What is Soapbox Science?

Soapbox science is a novel outreach platform for promoting women and non-binary scientists and their work. It follows a similar platform of London Hyde Parks's Speaker's Corner.

The platform allows direct communication to the general public to engage and increase understanding of science through talks and interactive experiments.
