PML is highly commended by Charity Awards

PML was highly commended as a runner-up in the prestigious
Charity Awards 2007, in the category of Animals and the
Environment.
Following a rigorous judging process, 31 organisations were
shortlisted for 10 categories from a record level of entries to the
UK’s largest and longest established charity awards programme.
The gala dinner was held dinner on 21st June 2007 at Battersea
Park Events Arena and attended by almost 1000 representatives of
the shortlisted organisations, including some well-known faces;
Kate Adie, BBC news correspondent George Alagaya, Neil Kinnock, Zoë
Wanamaker and various other actors and celebrities.
Now in their eighth year, the Charity Awards reward excellence
in management and the shortlisted charities have displayed this by
turning innovation, passion and vision into an effective project or
organisation demonstrating considerable impact.
Professor Nick Owens, Chief Executive of PML, commented: “We are
delighted to have been highly commended and have already begun
planning our entry for 2009”.
