Visit from KORDI delegation

On the 21st November PML
welcomed a high level scientific delegation from the Korea Ocean
Research and Development Institute (KORDI), including its President
Dr. Kang. This is the next step in implementing the existing
Memorandum of Understanding and activating the newly opened
KORDI-PML Science Office that will lead to joint projects and
funding.
The morning included
introductions from Professor Steve de Mora and the formal opening
of the Science Office, whilst the afternoon comprised of more
specific scientific presentations and a tour of the laboratory.
Presentations were given on such topics as socio-economic
analysis, Earth observation, ecosystem modelling and other
collaborative science activities.
