Key challenges
PML advocates tackling these societal challenges through an
interdisciplinary, science-based approach, whereby researchers from
multiple scientific areas work together in an integrated way to
create and apply knowledge.
This approach recognises that these challenges are interlinked
and require the engagement of multiple science areas to provide
knowledge and evidence-based scientific advice. In tackling these
challenges PML has been structured along four integrated thematic
research areas:
