Applying PML's science and technology
PML Applications Ltd is PML’s wholly owned trading subsidiary and
has been created to work with customers in activities across a
number of industry sectors, which are concerned with understanding,
managing and protecting the marine environment. We are also making
significant contributions to the marine biotechnology and
healthcare sectors through developing and applying a range of
scientific outputs from biosensors through to identifying and
isolating novel compounds from marine organisms.
PML Applications also offers consultancy, research and modelling
services for the management of estuarine and coastal ecosystems, as
well as earth observing research, applications and products from
satellite and airborne remote sensing systems. One of our major
cross-cutting capabilities is concerned with our pioneering work on
marine biodiversity and sustainable ecosystems, including the
social and economic dimension.
