Regional
Formal partnerships include the following:
- A Memorandum of Understanding with the
University of Exeter to progress collaboration in
the fields of marine molecular biology, climate change and
environment and human health.
- The Plymouth Marine Sciences
Partnership (PMSP), whose other full members are the
University of Plymouth, the Marine Biological Association (MBA),
the Sir Alister Hardy Foundation for Ocean Science (SAHFOS), the
National Marine Aquarium and the Diving Diseases Research Centre.
The PMSP represents the largest cluster of marine sciences,
education, engineering and technology in Britain and one of the
largest in Europe.
PML also works closely with the MBA and SAHFOS on the Oceans
2025 programme and with the University of Plymouth on several
research projects.
