Partnerships

A key element of PML’s strategy is to nurture and develop its
international, national and regional and local partnerships.
Partnerships are developed for a number of reasons:
- an increasingly competitive environment
necessitates strategic partnerships to seek new avenues and markets
for funding and to deliver stakeholders’ requirements;
- collaboration is an essential factor in
research and PML scientists have formed long-term relationships
with scientists in other organizations to initiate and undertake
research projects, and
- the involvement of industrial partners and
end users in research is growing, particularly in relation to more
applied research, the drive for knowledge exchange and to deliver
economic benefit from research.
