Optical-biogeochemical dynamics of oligotrophic lakes
Today the Rt Hon Gregory Barker MP, Minister of State for Climate Change, and Plymouth MP Oliver Colvile visited PML to hear about the cutting-edge marine science relating to climate change being undertaken at the lab.
The visitors were given a tour of the key facilities at the lab and heard from PML’s world-leading scientists on the topics of carbon capture and storage, ecosystem modelling, novel marine-based solutions to societal issues and the impact of a changing climate on the ocean.
The Secretary of State for Defence, the Rt Hon Michael Fallon MP , visited PML this week to learn about some of the internationally-renowned marine research being undertaken in Britain’s Ocean City.
