In memoriam: Professor Laurence Mee

PML wishes to express its great sadness at the tragic and sudden death of Professor Laurence Mee, Director of the Scottish Association for Marine Science.

Laurence was well known to many at PML, from both his time at Plymouth University and from interactions with him at national and international level. He will be remembered by PML as a dedicated and enthusiastic advocate of marine science on the world stage.

Laurence will be sorely missed both as a friend and a scientist. To read more about Professor Mee's distinguished career, please visit the Scottish Association for Marine Science website.
